You pay us a flat fee, then charge participants what you wish and
raise sponsorship funds from local businesses. With energetic
promotion, Street Scramble can pay for itself.
Checkpoint at Seattle's Safeco Field
You receive the following:
- Street Scramble map and questions, incorporating any specific checkpoints you wish
- Professional event day staff person
- Training of event day volunteers
- Results processing
- Promotional materials, including templates for flyers, posters, T-shirts, ads, website, event program, sponsor agreements, and press releases
- Guidance in setting up registraiton, including templates for your on-line registration service and participant database.
Pricing
Annual fee: $2365 plus travel expenses (two round-trips from Seattle)
First year startup cost: $750 additional
You pay for promotion, map printing, refreshments, and awards.

Terry & Eric: Street Scramble founders at inaugural urban orienteering event, the 2003 Seattle Night & Day Challenge, holding boxes of maps.This Street Scramble community package is offered by Meridian Geographics,
the same people who produce the Cascade Orienteering Club's annual
calendar of Street Scrambles. Meridian Geographics was
founded by Eric Bone, an expert in map and compass
navigation and one of the top U.S. athletes in the sport of
orienteering. Besides producing Street Scramble, MerGeo offers
custom orienteering events, navigation camps, private coaching,
and programs for schools and youth groups. MerGeo also produces
the BEAST adventure race series
and sponsors
winning adventure racing team MerGeo.com.
